Correlation between notifications and browsing
Having studied both the notification logs and the browse logs, it is useful to
understand whether there is any correlation between the browsing and
notification activities of users. We are interested in answering questions
such as: (i) do users utilize one of the services significantly more than
other services, and (ii) does their interest in particular content categories
differ across the two services. We use the notification and browser logs, both
spanning from August 15, 2000 through August 26, 2000 for the following analysis.
