Traveling to EVT '06 from Outside of Canada?
For full official details on what is required to visit Canada go to the government site located here. For most countries a passport is sufficient.

To enter Canada, U.S. citizens should be prepared to provide either a passport OR a government-issued photo I.D. (e.g., driver's license) as well as a proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or certificate of citizenship or naturalization. Permanent residents should bring their Permanent Resident Card (green card). Please click here for more information about how to obtain a passport.

Registration for the 15th USENIX Security Symposium (Security '06) is separate from registration for EVT '06. Please see the Security '06 Web site for information about how to participate.
