Within approximately 1.5 years the network has grown form a single point-to-point connection to a completely usable network. Logging MAC address data shows that the network is used by approximately 300 different machines. On a day-to-day basis it is currently estimated that approximately 100 users are connected. With the introduction of (free, sponsored) Internet connectivity on the network this will without doubt grow. Although the learning curve was steep, the fully operational network is now gaining more acceptance as more applications become available.
