This talk uses graphs, geographical maps (both static and animated), tables, and text to present historical data about the growth of the Internet, followed by predictions of future growth, worldwide and regional, with speculations on what will happen to current Internet players, corporate, national, and personal.

My "WearComp" photographic apparatus of the 1970s and early 1980s, as described in https://www.wearcomp.org/ieeecomputer.htm, comprised a body-worn computer with a video screen over one eye and a miniature keyboard in one hand. This invention formed the basis for a new genre of photograhic imaging called "dusting" (Lightspace Rendering). Multiple, differently exposed/illuminated images of the same scene or objects were captured under program control of the apparatus. I will present early examples, together with new results in photometric imaging arising from this work. Most recently, this Wearable Wireless Webcam is built into ordinary-looking sunglasses and clothing which include a video processor and wireless Internet connection. The apparatus has become a visual extension of my mind and body, facilitating a new genre in documentary video and, I believe, connected collective humanistic intelligence.
