My "WearComp" photographic apparatus of the 1970s and early 1980s, as described in https://www.wearcomp.org/ieeecomputer.htm, comprised a body-worn computer with a video screen over one eye and a miniature keyboard in one hand. This invention formed the basis for a new genre of photographic imaging called "dusting" (Lightspace Rendering). Multiple, differently exposed/illuminated images of the same scene or objects were captured under program control of the apparatus. I will present early examples, together with new results in photometric imaging arising from this work. Most recently, this Wearable Wireless Webcam is built into ordinary-looking sunglasses and clothing which include a video processor and wireless Internet connection. The apparatus has become a visual extension of my mind and body, facilitating a new genre in documentary video and, I believe, connected collective humanistic intelligence.
