John Blair  (W3 is the author of Samba: Integrating UNIX and Windows (a tutorial and reference guide) and a frequent contributor to Linux Journal. As a member of the Samba Team, he has contributed documentation improvements and minor bits of code.

David Chappell  (W5 is Principal of Chappell & Associates, an education and consulting firm. He has worked as a senior software engineer at Cray Research, chaired a US national standardization group, and presented seminars around the world. He writes a regular column for Object Magazine, and his most recent book is Understanding ActiveX and OLE. David holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.S. in Computer Science, both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Rik Farrow  (W1 provides UNIX and Internet security consulting and training. He has been working with UNIX system security since 1984, and with TCP/IP networks since 1988. He has taught at the IRS, Department of Justice, NSA, US West, Canadian RCMP, Swedish Navy, and for many US and European user groups. He is the author of UNIX System Security and System Administrator's Guide to System V. Farrow writes columns for ;login:, and Network Magazine.

Aeleen Frisch  (W4 has been a system administrator for over 15 years. She currently looks after a very heterogeneous network of UNIX and Windows NT systems. She is the author of several books, including Essential Windows NT System Administration and Essential System Administration.

Jamie Hanrahan  (W2 provides Windows NT driver development, consulting, and training services to leading companies. He received the Instructor of the Year award while teaching courses for Digital Equipment Corporation. He is co-author of VMS Advanced Driver Techniques. He is co-writing a book on Windows NT device drivers to be published by O'Reilly and Associates.

Greg A. Kulosa  (W6 is an experienced UNIX Systems Administrator; he is currently a senior consultant solving a myriad of host and networking problems. He has rolled out DHCP to networks with 2 to 1500 (Windows NT/95, Linux, Solaris 2.6) client machines as well as done more DNS BIND installs than he cares to remember.
