The 8th USENIX Symposium on Operating Systems Design and Implementation
(OSDI '08) brings together professionals from academic and industrial
backgrounds in what has become a premier forum for discussing the
design, implementation, and implications of systems software.
The full program is now available. Register today.
This year's outstanding program includes 26 technical papers carefully
selected from a large pool of submissions. These high-quality papers
represent a diverse range of hot research areas including cloud computing,
file systems, security, and OS architecture.
In addition, OSDI '08 will feature a poster session where attendees
can discuss emerging ideas in operating systems design and
implementation by talking with leading researchers who are
introducing their new and interesting work. Check out the list of accepted posters.
OSDI '08 also offers more opportunities to learn and gain feedback
about the state of the art in systems software through short
Work-in-Progress (WiP) presentations on novel ideas in systems
research. Check out more information here.
Please join us at the Paradise Point Resort for this inspiring
symposium covering the most innovative operating systems research. We
look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
Richard Draves, Microsoft Research
