We are writing to invite you to NSDI '09, the 6th USENIX Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation, which will take place April 22–24, 2009, in Boston, MA.

NSDI '09 focuses on the design principles of large-scale networks and distributed systems. Our goal is to bring together researchers from across the systems and networking communities to foster cross-disciplinary approaches and to address shared research challenges.

This year's outstanding program includes 32 technical papers carefully selected from a pool of 162 submissions. These high-quality papers represent a diverse range of hot research areas including trust and privacy, storage, content distribution, green networked systems, and more.

In addition, NSDI '09 will feature a poster session where attendees can discuss emerging ideas in networked systems design by talking with leading researchers who are introducing their ongoing work. To submit a poster, please send a proposal, one page or less, by March 1, 2009, nsdi09posters@usenix.org. Michael J. Freedman, the poster session chair, will send back decisions by March 15, 2009.

Please join us at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers for this inspiring symposium covering the most innovative networked systems research. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Rexford, Princeton University
Emin Gün Sirer, Cornell University
