Bio
Paul Brutch is a full-time student and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Texas A&M University. He received his Master of Computer Science degree in May of 1996 from Texas A&M University. Paul's areas of interest include: computer and network security, telecommunications, distributed computing, simulation, mobile computing, fault tolerance, and Quality of Service (QoS). He is performing his doctoral research in network security under the guidance of Dr. Udo Pooch. Paul is a co-author of nine publications pertaining to security issues in network and mobile computing, network simulation, and distributed computing. He participates as a student member in numerous organizations such as USENIX, ACM, IEEE Computer Society, and the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Computer Science Honor Society. Paul is also a former United States Air Force Communications-Computer officer.
