Dear Colleague: This year the 2nd USENIX Windows NT Symposium will again bring together researchers who are engaged in product development, industry research, and academic research using the challenging new Windows NT platform. Whether you are already engaged in research using NT or are planning to move in that direction, this is an excellent opportunity for you. This year's event follows upon last Summer's highly productive USENIX Windows NT Workshop. Over 300 people shared their experiences and learned from each other's work. The 1998 Symposium is likewise designed to facilitate connections. Come and meet your peers. Be informed of cutting-edge research from refereed technical papers. Demonstrations and a poster session accompanied by a sherry reception offer you a pleasant, informal place to learn and exchange. There are receptions, symposium luncheons, Birds-of-a-a-Feather Sessions and other forums to talk over what you've learned. A day of USENIX Windows NT tutorials follows the Symposium. Tutorials concentrate on in-depth instruction in essentials of Windows NT and its key technologies. If your current or future research involves Windows NT, you can further your work by participating in the Symposium.
We look forward to seeing you in Seattle.
P.S. Attendance is limited by the size of the hotel, so please register early to ensure your seat. In particular, register quickly for tutorials. |
