Tcl/Tk as an OpenDoc Scripting Part
Jim Ingham
AT&T Bell Laboratories
Abstract
This paper describes the advantages that would accrue both to Tcl/Tk
and to OpenDoc by importing the Tcl/Tk scripting system into the
OpenDoc environment. First, it gives a brief outline of the OpenDoc
compound document architecture. Then it describes the place Tcl/Tk
could fill in the OpenDoc scheme. Finally, it gives a preliminary
sketch of the areas in which Tcl/Tk would need to be modified in order
to implement this merger.
