Jenn can't pay her volunteers, but she can give them something just as important: credit. The LinuxChix web site includes several sections whose main purpose is cheerleading for the people who make LinuxChix work. One section is dedicated to news stories about members of LinuxChix,2 another provides links to publications by members.3Jenn also gives out public thank-yous on the mailing lists, and makes sure to always refer to LinuxChix as ``our'' project, never ``my'' project.
