SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP SESSIONS
New in 2004, USENIX will offer a single track devoted to Special Interest Group Sessions. These will be run in parallel with the technical sessions. A SIG Session may be informal and composed of a community bound by a common interest.
The UseLinux SIG Session will be chaired by Ted Ts'o, core Linux kernel developer and member of the technical board of Linux International.
The Extreme Linux SIG Session will be chaired by Jon "maddog" Hall, Executive Director of Linux International.
The Security SIG Session will be chaired by Aviel Rubin, technical director of the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute.
The UseBSD SIG Session will be chaired by Murray Stokely of FreeBSD Mall, Inc.
