The always popular evening Birds-of-a-Feather sessions are very informal gatherings of persons interested in a particular topic. BoFs may be scheduled during the conference at the registration desk or in advance by contacting bofs@usenix.org with "OSDI '06 BoF" in the subject line and the following information in the body of the email:

Systems Research in Europe

We will discuss the situation of systems research in Europe, discuss what has been done since EuroSys was created at OSDI 2004, and what needs to be done in the future. (Both terms, "Systems" and "Europe" should be interpreted broadly.)
