BoF Descriptions
Infosys Vendor BoF
Prasad Joshi, Jitendra Pal Theti, and Srinivas Natarajan, Infosys
Wednesday, April 22, 8:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Clarendon
Managing and analyzing large amounts of data that often runs into peta-bytes presents a challenge—be it structured data or unstructured data. Emergence of grid enabled data virtualization solutions together with a growing interest in distributed file systems reinforces this. Additionally, we see the emergence of cloud databases that aid in massive scale out of applications. The highlight of the talk will be to explore the key technology dimensions for evaluating the different large scale data management techniques.
