Hotel discount reservation deadline: Monday, January 7th, 2002

USENIX has negotated special rates for conference attendees at the DoubleTree Hotel Monterey. Please make your reservation as soon as possible by contacting the hotel directly. You must mention USENIX to get the special group rate. A one-night room deposit must be guaranteed to a major credit card, which will be charged within one week of making the reservation. To cancel your reservation, you must notify the hotel at least 48 hours prior to your planned arrival date.

Note: When the rooms in the USENIX block are sold out, requests will be handled on a space-available basis at the hotel's standard rate. Make your reservations early!

Transportation/Parking
Monterey is situated 60 miles south of San Jose International Airport and 120 miles south of downtown San Francisco. Transportation from the Monterey Peninsula Airport to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. Taxi service is about $10 each way. Parking rate is $11 per day self-parking for hotel guests, including in-and-out privileges. Valet parking is $13 per 24 hour stay.
