Bio
Tasneem Brutch received her B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering, and an M.S. in Computer Science, from Texas A&M University, where she was also a student member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon, Computer Science Honor Society. She has a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Computer Engineering, in the area of mobile and wireless communication security. She is an author of five publications pertaining to mobile and wireless communication security, and network and host security. She has presented short courses and tutorials on Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), intrusion detection systems, and mobile and wireless security at SANS, ACM, and IEEE. She is a member of USENIX, ACM and IEEE organizations. She is currently working for Hewlett-Packard as Security Software Design Engineer on IDS/9000 intrusion detection product.
